what makes a People, a Society unique.

In particular, it is the image that comes to mind when

 you hear the name of a particular Region or People.

An example of a People with very unique customs

 are the Amish of North America.

Most people have an instant image when you say Amish.

The Amish have very distinctive customs and these

customs or habits set them apart from other people.
